Information for our guests

The reception will take place immediately following the ceremony at the Gull Lake Center at Grand View Lodge.

Guests staying at Grand View have the opportunity to walk from their cabins or hop in a horse-drawn wagon making rounds to the cabins.

Location Grand View Lodge is located 142 miles northwest of Minneapolis and 120 miles west of Duluth.

From Minneapolis/St. Paul From the Twin Cities, take Interstate 94 west to the Clearwater/Annandale exit (#178). Turn right through Clearwater and Clear Lake. In Clear Lake, take Highway 10 west past St. Cloud and Little Falls to Highway 371 Brainerd. Stay on Highway 371 to Baxter. Proceed approximately 12 miles north on Highway 371 to the second intersection of County Road 77. There will be a Holiday Gas Station on your left and a Schaefer's Grocery Store on your right, turn left. Follow County Road 77 for one mile to the resort on left.

From Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Grand View Lodge is less than a 40-minute flight north of the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. Northwest Airlink services the Brainerd Crow Wing County Airport with several flights daily throughout the year. For information or reservations, call Northwest Airlink at 800-225-2525. Private planes may also use the Brainerd airport. Grand View will gladly arrange to meet your group's plane with shuttle service at the airport. Please notify us to make arrangements.

From Brainerd Airport (Total Est. Time: 22 minutes; Total Est. Distance: 14.62 miles): Go west 2.1 miles on Highway 210/Washington Street. Turn right onto Highway 371 north, proceed approximately 12 miles to the second intersection of County Road 77. There will be a Holiday Gas Station on your left and a Schaefer's Grocery Store on your right, turn left. Follow County Road 77 for one mile to the resort on left.

From Fargo Head east on US 10 E for approx. 114 miles, turn left on MN 210, continue east approx. 20 miles, then turn left onto MN 371 N for approx. 11.5 miles, where you will turn left on CR 77 (second CR77 with Holiday Station on left). Grand View Lodge is less than one mile on your left side.

From Duluth Take I-35 south to Highway 210 exit (#235) toward Carlton/Cromwell. (0.3 miles). Turn right onto Highway 210 west (55.4 miles). At stop sign, turn left onto US-169/Highway 210 to Aitkin, MN. Continue through Aitkin on Highway 210 to Deerwood. Go straight through Deerwood. (Hwy. 210 will turn to the right, but go straight to save 4 miles. Watch for the sign that says Brainerd 16 miles.) At the stop sign turn left, reconnecting with Highway 210/MN-6. Continue to follow Highway 210/MN-6 west through Brainerd to Baxter. Turn right (north) onto Highway 371. Proceed approximately 12 miles to the second County Road 77 intersection, with a Holiday gas station on the left and Schaefer's Grocery store on the right. Turn left and continue to follow County Road 77 for one mile to Grand View Lodge entrance on left.
